DIFFERENCES BETWEEN WARM OR COLD HUMIDIFICATION

If you decide to purchase a humidifier, you must choose between a warm vapour or cold moisture system. In fact these two devices contribute to your comfort in different ways :

In a room occupied by a newborn child who has a different sensibility toward the heat compared to adults, it's better to use a warm moisture humidifier, particularly because this system provides a pure and sterile vapor.

In offices, usually well heated, or in rooms where temperature in winter is maintained comfortable, it is recommended to use a cold moisture humidifier.

A warm vapour humidifier will allow diffusing essences or balsamic substances to improve ambient conditions.

A cold water evaporation humidifier will help plants and other living organisms in relatively thigh temperature rooms.

All humidifiers should be regularly maintained (cleaned) to insure proper conditions ; however, it is recommended to use warm vapour humidifiers when hygiene is a fundamental requirement.

A warm vapour system, sterilize the water by boiling.
