Please read and keep this user guide before you start using your humidifier.

Your humidifier must be maintained properly to work satisfactorily.

How to use your humidifier.

 

Be careful to :

- Not introduce any foreign material into the vapour chamber or inlet.

- When connected the humidifier must not be emptied, be moved; if knocked down there is danger of electrocution.

-  Before connecting the  humidifier, you must verify the supply cord and wall socket.

-  When the humidifier is in function, keep your face away from the vapour, do not touch it, there is danger of burning.

-  A non suitable socket could provoke a fire.

- Do not immerse the humidifier.

- Clean the humidifier once a week with a soft cloth.

- Do not fill the reservoir when the unit is in function, there is danger of burning.

- Do not use another appliance during the cleaning.

- Do not block the air inlet and outlet when the unit is connected.

- Do not place the humidifier in a place where it could overturn.

- Do not to clean with a solvent, this could alter the colour and finish.

- Do not move the device to clean it when it works, the warm water could spill and cause burning.

 

DURING INSTALLATION

- Locate the humidifier OUT OF REACH of children.

- Do not use the humidifier near an electric heater, fireplace etc. the plastic materials of the humidifier are flammable.

- Do not install the humidifier on a carpet, the lack of aeration could become dangerous.

- Do not install the humidifier near furniture or directly under a ceiling, humidity could damage the finish.

- Do not place the humidifier on a slant or unstable support, this could prevent its function and spill the water.

WATER REFILL

To fill the reservoir.

1.             Remove the reservoir cap and fill it with tap water about 1/3 of the reservoir.

2.             Refit the cap and shake strongly; empty the reservoir.

3.             Refill with water again.

Attention.

-              Do not place the water faucet in the steam exhaust.

-              Do not use water warmer over 40°C.

-              Relocate reservoir in its location.

 

Connect to a wall socket - 230V / 50HZ

ATTENTION

-              To disconnect the humidifier, pull on the wall socket itself, not on the cord.

-              Do not use the humidifier if the supply cord or the plugs are damaged, it could cause a short circuit..

-              Handle the electric cordon with care.

-              Disconnect the device when not in use.

-              If the supply cord is damaged, please have it replaced by the manufacturer, a Service Station or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

 

Store away.

-              Clean the unit and remove all calcium..

-              Follow the (6) cleaning steps, dry up the unit.

-              Store away in the original packing

 

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Disconnect the humidifier before cleaning.

Do not use the humidifier if it is full of calcium, or damaged,  if there is no water evaporation, if there are moulds or bad smells. It could be harmful.

Close the reservoir cap and replace in its location.

 


ATTENTION

Do not use the humidifier next to a connected appliance, such as a television, a "hi-fi system" etc...

Not to leave the unit connected  if the reservoir is empty.

 

The humidifier is easily maintained, please proceed as follows:

 

 

 Disconnect the humidifier, remove and empty the reservoir.

-          With some water and a soft cloth, wipe the reservoir inside and out. Do not use abrasives. Rinse well.

-          Handle humidifier with care,  the unit could be damaged by falling.

-          Clean the humidifier the same way as the reservoir, inside and out with a soft cloth and mild soap; this  must be done once a week.

-          Use a good clean-away agent to remove all traces of deposits and calcium.

-          Empty water and minerals from the cavity. Fill the tank with a half cup (125 ml) of a calcium solvent agent (ref DMS216). Replace the tank, cap down, into the unit. The cavity will fill with solution and dissolve the calcium. Soak for 20 minutes to a maximum of 30 minutes. Do not operate the unit while it is soaking in the cleaning agent solution. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning.

-          Rinse well before re-use. Take good care of your humidifier..
