IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before using heater 1. This heater
is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not have let bare skin touch hot
surfaces. Always use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible
materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains
at least 3 feet (0.9m) away from the
front of the heater and keep them at least 1 feet (0.3m) away from the sides
and rear. 2. Extreme
caution is necessary when heater is used. . 3. Always unplug heater when not in use. 4.
Do not operate
heater if the cord or plug are damaged, or after the heater
malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to
authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical
adjustment, or repair. 5.
Do not use outdoors. 6.
This heater is not intended for use in wet or damp
locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other
water container. 7.
Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw
rugs, runners, or the like. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it
will not be tripped over.

To
disconnect heater, turn switches to off position, then remove plug from
outlet. Pull only by the plug. Do not pull on the cord when disconnecting it. 9.
Do not
insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening
as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater. 10.
To
prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner.
Do not use on soft surfaces, like bed, where openings may become blocked. 11. A heater is hot and as arcing or sparking
parts inside. Do not use it in area where gasoline, paint, or flammable
liquids are used or stored. 12.
Use this
heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. 13.
Do not
use an extension cord it could overheat and cause a fire. 14.
This
heater is for residential use only. It is not intended to be use in commercial
or industrial settings. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONSCONTROL PANEL : 1-
When the
heater is plugged in, push the power switch at the rear of the base to “—“ there
will be a beep to indicate that there is power to the unit. 2-
Power Button : press this button once, the LCD will display the
current mode. Press it again, the unit will stop running. 3-
Mode Button : press this button once the LCD will display
“HIGH” indicating that the heater is in high heat mode. It shows the ambient
temperature as well. 4-
Press Mode
Button again, the LCD will display” LOW”, indicating that the heater is in LOW heat mode,
it also shows the ambient temperature. 5-
Press
Mode a third time, the LCD will display AUTO, indicating that the heater is
in automatic control mode. Press +/- to set required
temperature. + indicates higher
temperatures, the highest temperature is 30°C. – is for
lower temperature, the lowest temperature is 15°C. To add one (1°) more
degree press + once. Keep pressing until you obtain the
desired temperature. If the TEMP Button (+/-) is not pressed within 10
seconds, the display will stop blinking SET TEMP and change to ROOM
TEMP. 6-
TIMER BUTTON: Press it once, the LCD will show that
the heater will run for one hour ,
press it twice it will run for two hours and so on, up to 8 hours. If you press a ninth time the LCD
display goes off, the heater then runs continuously. The time setting
changes from 1 till 8 and off when this button is kept pressing. 7-
O S C Button : Press
this button once, the heater will oscillate back and forth a full 120
degrees. Press it again the
oscillation will stop. The heater does not oscillate when it is set in AUTO mode, it only oscillates in HIGH or LOW mode. 8-
The heater must be placed FLAT on an even and
horizontal surface or the tip-over switch will shut if off automatically. |

MAINTENANCE
CLEANING : Clean the filter net at least
monthly or more often if dirty. A dirty filter could restrict the air flow
and cause the heater to function improperly or shut down. Do not attempt to
remove inlet grill from the heater. a) Unplug heater from power
source. b) Vacuum rear grill
area of heater with vacuum cleaner brush attachment to remove lint and dirt
from internal filter (see Figure 5). c) Clean the body with a soft
cloth. Never use alcohol or solvents. STORAGE: Store the heater with these
instructions in the original box in a dry place. SAFETY FEATURES 1. A tip-over switch is built in to prevent
operation if the heater is tipped over. 2. A thermal overload protector and a thermal fuse
are built in to prevent overheating. 3.An in-line fuse is built in to prevent operation
in the event of overload |
