OPERATION
Set your fan on a level dry surface
Plug the power cord into 230 Volt AC wall socket.
Your high Velocity Fan features a multi-speed airflow selector switch, which allows you to select the desired amount of air and its velocity. Airflow settings are as follows:
Speed I= low
Speed II= Medium
Speed III= High
0=Off
Thermostat Option
Some Fan units
(TH---models) are equipped with a thermostat which enables the
automatic start and stop of the fan according to temperature conditions.
The thermostat is in function at all times regardless of the knob
position and controls the fan operation from 0° to 55°C. The unit will not
operate if the ambient temperature is less than 0°C. It is also not recommended
to use the fan in such condition.
It is recommended to set the thermostat switch dial at the proper required temperature
level for comfort conditions.
Note : please wait a few moments
(about 5 min, according to ambient temperature) to allow the fan to start after
attributing a consigned temperature setting.
The thermostat is designed to stop the unit to function when the ambient
temperature goes below the set point of the dial switch. If the ambient
temperature remains high, the fan should normally function continuously
regardless of the set point.
When starting the unit, set the thermostat on the lowest position (1)
and set the fan speed switch to a desired position ( I & II or III).
The fan will work continuously until the surrounding temperature becomes
sufficiently low for the thermostat to de-activate the electrical current supply .
The thermostat is designed to help the high velocity fan regulate the
temperature. The user will determine himself his
comfort level and set the thermostat dial switch accordingly (position 1 to 9).
Once this temperature level is established, the fan will start or stop
automatically with an acceptable margin of + / - 5°C.
During the summer months, your high velocity Air Circulator can be used alone or in conjunction with an air conditioning unit to circulate the cooled air or to force the air into other rooms.
During winter months, your fan can be used to enhance the distribution of the heated air in your home.
The motor is thermally protected and will automatically shut off the fan should it overheat for any reason. If this occurs, immediately unplug the fan from the electrical supply.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Always turn the unit off and unplug it from power supply.
The guard and stand can be easily cleaned with a soft moist cloth and mild cleanser. The motor bushings are permanently lubricated at the factory and do not require any additional lubrication. Do not let water enter into the electrical parts. In the event that the supply cord becomes damaged, in order to avoid any hazard, it must be replaced by either the manufacturer, its service agent or other qualified party.
